Stan Martin runs a league called “Sur De 44″ (Spanish for South of 44”).  They meet every Wednesday at 9 am at Riverbend, Water Lily and Burnsed Rec Ctrs.

— For Div I & II, you will play at Burnsed Rec Ctr.
— For Div III and IV; you play at Riverbend Rec Ctr.
— For Divisions V & VI you play at Water Lily Rec Ctr.

Divisions are assigned based on skill level, Div I being the highest, down to Div VI.

The session lasts for 10 weeks.  See the Schedule here for start dates, list of Players, contact info, etc.  They normally take a week off between sessions.  If you want to play in the next session, then Stan may need to meet you and play some games to determine what Division you should play in.

They play 3 games of 8-ball; 3 games of 9-ball, and one game of MSP (Modified Straight Pool).  Matches are usually finished by 12:00.  Click here for the MSP rules.

You are invited to join the Willie Wong Memorial event at any time during the session. For more info,  please contact Stan.

One of the unique features of this league is that you have a scoresheet where you record your results, and then text a picture of the scoresheet to Stan.  He posts the results every Wednesday afternoon.

However, since it is often the case where players cannot meet at the designated time, you are provided a schedule of the matches, and know in advance who your opponents will be. You can simply contact your opponent and schedule a makeup match for any time and place that your opponent agrees to.
