Ginger’s Billiards Open had their 10-Ball tournament this past Friday night (04/11) at Silver Lake. Bob Huebsch and John Stalbaum tied for 1st place.  Bob Cornell got 3rd, and there was a 4-way tie for 4th among Lionel Dube. Mark Kynett, Tom Maffatone and Barney Stuart.

Standings from Week #7 (04/06) of Larry Berg’s Sunday Mixed Scotch Doubles Leagues at Hibiscus and Canal are now posted on his league’s page here… Looks like Bill and Marge Melvin are now tied with Joe and Cindy Marz in 1st place at Hibiscus.  There’s a 3-way tie for 1st place at Canal — Jeff and Kelle, Larry and Pat, Don and Joan — all have 26 wins.

(From 1/1/2019) It’s Friday With Frank time again so let’s go back into the archives. Here Frank gives a great live performance in this 1943 Lucky Strike cigarette promotional of Hoagy Carmichael’s “Stardust”.

Larry’s team continues to dominate.  He led his team to a 64-36 victory over Bill’s team by throwing down a score of 17, tying his highest score ever.  On the other side of the room Greg and Fred’s teams battled it out to a 50-50 tie.

The Monday Al Brinson League draft and wrap-up party is now on for Monday, 4/16 at 11:00.  Bill has not had a chance to post the info on his website so I put the info together in a few spreadsheets below.  These will be loaded on his site when he gets back in the saddle.

(From 11/5/2019)When I started putting these music videos up here, I said they would be a little different.  Maybe I’ll put up a “regular” Beatles video later but for now, hey…let’s go a little off the wall.

George sent in the latest standings from their 3-Cushion Billiards League that plays at Saddlebrook on Mondays.  They are posted on their page here.  Looks like George is out in front with 5 wins and 1 loss.  But The Preacher is right there with him with 4 wins and no losses.  Still early days…lots of matches left to play.

Ginger sent in the standings from Week-1 of the new session of her Odell 8 and 9-ball league on Tuesdays.  They are posted on her league’s page here which has info about the league and its new schedule.  I also posted the last session final standings there if you want to check them out.
