Thought I’d change things up a bit so I guess we’ll call this one Two for Tuesday – with a TWIST. This has a little test to go with it. I originally posted this right after the Queen movie came to The Villages at the Barnstorm Theater back in 2018.
In addition to the live video of Queen from 1981 in Montreal, there is a really nice recording of Procol Harum’s Whiter Shade of Pale that was recorded with the Danish National Concert Orchestra in 2006. Sadly, Gary Brooker passed in 2022 at his home in Surrey, UK at the age of 76.
Both of these recordings are a great quality for YouTube videos and the mixes are outstanding!
Now here’s the tricky question for you — what do these 2 songs have in common? Bonus points if you know BEFORE listening to them – this one is so obscure you may not even get it AFTER listening to the songs! -:)
