(From 11/19/2018) Well, it’s another Motown Monday and today I’m going to loop back to both the Funk Brothers (Robert White from that group played the signature guitar riff intro) and another Ruffin brother. See those videos here…
This time it’s Jimmy’s brother, David Ruffin, along with Eddie Kendricks and Paul Williams also on lead vocals singing “My Girl” 60 years ago. The last surviving founding member, Otis “Big Daddy” Williams (baritone) and Melvin “Blue” Franklin (bass) can also be seen here.
