Odell 8-9 Ball
Ginger Eng runs an 8-9 Ball league at the Hibiscus Rec Center on Tuesdays at 1:00. This is a league for advanced billiards players who are recruited by the league operator. The league dues are $15 per session, which are disbursed as prize at the end of each session. Contact Ginger if you are interested. Her contact info is on the current Spring Session Schedule here.
At the end of the session, 2 mini-tournaments are held – one for the top 6 players, and one for the bottom 6 players.

RULES
The games played are 5 games of 8-ball and 3-games of 9-ball. The winner of the lag/coin toss has the option of breaking first, with alternate breaks thereafter. 8-Ball is played first. Point count is by games won. BCA rules are implemented. The 9-ball must be called except on the break.
Makeup games, if implemented, should be completed within 2 weeks of the scheduled play. They may be played at any recreation center. A no-show for a scheduled or makeup match (15 minutes leeway) is a forfeit. The winner of a forfeit gets 5 points and the loser gets 0 points. Please try to avoid a forfeit as much as possible. It is not fair to the opponent or to the league. (Note: If a date for a makeup match cannot be agreed upon or is not played, each player will get zero (0) for a score. PLEASE PLAY IT WITHIN 2 WEEKS UNLESS UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES PREVENT IT FROM BEING DONE.
