(From 8/5/2019) Well, this time last year I certainly didn’t think I’d be celebrating my birthday on a houseboat cruising down the Zambeze River in Africa!
Like Jerry G. said – “What a long, strange trip it’s been.”
After a light breakfast, we set out via tender boats to explore the Rusi River system. Today, in addition to wildlife cruises, we will disembark and explore the flood plains by foot. After returning to our safari cruise boat, we’ll cruise to Elephant Bay. Back at the main lake, drinks and snacks await, and tonight we’ll enjoy a barbecue dinner on the beach to celebrate the final leg of our lake cruise…and my birthday-:)
