(From 7/28/2019). We take a early AM hour long flight out of Johannesburg to Nelspruit (Mbombela) and head to Kruger National Park. It is the largest of South Africa’s parks – about 7,500 sq. miles.
After checking into our lodge (Buffalo Rock Camp, Hazyview), we head out for our first game-viewing drive. Hope to see herds of elephant, water buffalo, eland, antelope and nyala. After lunch we head out again – this time for a longer 3-hour ride.
