(From 8/14/2019) This is gonna be a REALLY long day of air travel.
We fly out of Johannesburg around 1:30pm South Africa Time (GMT+2) which is 7:30am EST. Then we arrive in Dubai around noon Gulf Central Time (GMT+4) which is 4:00pm EST. After about a 3-hour layover in Dubai, we head out at 7:00pm GMT+4 and arrive in Orlando at 9:30am EST, the 14th.
I’ll let you all do the math…
Pretty sure I’ll be sleeping on the ride home from the airport so I am still definitely going to be incommunicado all day on Thursday, the 15th!
But then it’s back to Silver Lake the next day for the SLOTs!!
Actually, I’m pretty sure I’ll be enjoying all the amenities on that Air Emirates flight so let’s check out some of them…
