3-6-9 Tourney
Pool is Cool 3-6-9 Handicapped “Monthly” Tournament
Where: Hibiscus Rec Center
When: March 26th, 2025
Who: Tournament open to all levels of players eligible to play at The Villages Rec Centers
Time: Players Meeting 8:15am
Note: First Rack starts immediately following the Players Meeting at approximately 8:30 am. If you are not present and your match is called, you will be moved to the latest first round match time. If you are not there by then, you will forfeit the winner’s round match and be moved to the loser’s bracket. If you are a no-show and do not let Don Simpson know ahead of time you cannot play in the following month’s tournament.
Rules
- 1 Point each for the 3-ball, 6-ball and 9-ball.
- Bonus Points
a. You can earn bonus points by pocketing the 9-ball early, providing you make a legitimate hit on the lowest numbered ball on the table. If you do pocket the 9-ball, it is spotted and the rack continues. You get an additional bonus point every time you pocket an “extra” 9-ball.
b. You also earn a bonus point on a break and run, unless there is a push called after the break. - Lag for first break, then alternating breaks.
Handicaps
This month it will be a Race to 10 No Handicap Open Event.
