This one is a teaser… Not only is it that time again — Sunday with Sinatra – but also, I am going to start re-posting some of my travel pics/videos in a separate section in a few days. A couple of people were asking me last week about the Africa trip I took back in 2019. So I thought I’d pull those daily posts that documented our trip to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana. I’ll put a few up each week so as to not bombard you – there’s over 3 weeks of them!
In the meantime, let’s go back to 1958 and his first collaboration with arranger/conductor Billy May, Come Fly with Me was designed as a musical trip around the world. Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen wrote the title track at Sinatra’s request.
