OK….You’re saying “what the hey do U2, Playing For Change, and the Red Cross have to do with one another”? Well, they all do tie together when you recognize that today, August 30, is the International Day of the Disappeared, a day created by the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) to honor the countless people who have gone missing in the context of armed conflict, violence, migration or disaster – and the families left behind in anguish and uncertainty.
The Playing For Change folks put together this U2 song, Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, with musicians from all across the world.
