Going back for some more Earth, Wind and Fire this week but I’m also gonna throw in a jazzy version of it by Wayman Tisdale. If you’re a B-ball fan from Oklahoma or Indiana, the name Tisdale might ring a bell. His career started at U of OK then he played for the Pacers but his real love was music. Sadly he passed away at 44 after a 2-year bout with knee cancer after falling down. Read his story here.
I rarely like covers of other artist’s hits but Wayman’s version is pretty amazing. I always have them both on my USB music stick. Check them both out below…
