Ron Boyle runs an Advanced 8-9 Ball league at the Silver Lake Rec Center on Tuesdays at 12:30.   The format is basically the same as my Thursday Hickey League except they have 4-player teams.  They all play 2 games of 8-Ball and 2 games of 9-Ball against each player on the opposing team each week (16 games in total).

NOTE: This league has a lot of history going back to the 90’s.  It actually used to be the morning version of the Hickey League back when Don Hickey was running both sessions.  As Don’s health deteriorated, he handed the morning league over to Barry Curtis who then handed the reins over to Ron a few years later.  You can see the history of the leagues here.
