As most of you know, I lost a close friend this past week.  This music video was originally posted on my old site back in 2018 and I’m bringing the song back for you, Billy.

See you on the other side, good buddy…

1-Hit Wonders – Strawberry Alarm Clock

This one might bring back some more memories from the 60’s for you — and also probably stun you with a band member’s connection to another group.

Strawberry Alarm Clock were known for their 1967 hit “Incense and Peppermint” but did you know that they opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd when touring the South?  Not only that, after the band broke up lead singer Ed King went on to join Skynyrd in ’72 and wrote “Sweet Home Alabama“!

Smooth Jazz Sunday

Let’s do another Smooth Jazz Sunday and introduce some music that is probably new to most out there.

I just happened upon the David Wells & Chris Geith Project when a friend referred them to me a couple of years ago.  They’re kind of obscure – at least I really struggled to find any decent background info on either of them.  But I do enjoy their music and it makes for perfect Sunday kick back time.  Enjoy…

Imagine…Take #2

I posted this last August but the video was really poor quality.  Just ran across this live version that’s much better.  I said back then that it’s one of my favorite songs and was even on my license plate at the time. But this is not the John Lennon version. Randy Crawford — from the Crusaders if you remember them from the 70’s — puts a lot more emotion into hers.  Another song that’s on just about every one of my playlists.

Just got some sad news so it’s most appropriate…
